Currently we are only shipping to the Continental USA, with rates shown. Hawaii and Alaska residents can call or email to receive quotes that will include shipping charges. Special Ordering instructions will be given at that time. All Non Continental USA orders will not process automatically. We apologize but we currently do not ship Internationally to non-USA addresses.
We do not process or ship retail to California addresses due to California's recent 2011 change in laws pertaining to Sales Tax. We are not located in California, or set up to collect California sales tax. Several of our drop ship suppliers will also not ship to California for us due to the new change. At this time it is not feasible for us to invest in website code changes and secure the necessary California sales tax collection documents not knowing if a dropshipper will fill our request, or not. Should you miss our information on our home page and place an order, we will not process your order. In these cases your credit card transaction will not be processed. Your credit card transaction will be "VOIDED" to avoid tying up your funds. Please be aware though, that "VOIDED" transaction sometimes take 2 business days or so to show up on your statement history The time frame depends on your bank or card processer. You can alway contact us at info@topogear.com with any questions. We will sell to those with their California Resellers Number on file with us. But that is only if we stock the item locally, or our supplier is willing to ship once we provide your Resellers Number to them. These are special orders that need to be submitted by direct contact via email or phone.
All orders will be charged for shipping and handling, and calculate that charge during the check-out process. At times the calculation is higher than actual. In this case we adjust and credit your credit card, less any packing/handling fees, during the shipping process, Often we ship free after a total order minimum is reached. That should show up for you during your shopping cart check-out. Very small orders incur a handling/minimum ordering fee that calculates in as shipping during your shopping cart check out. Again this can be avoided by waiting and placing a larger order (Normally $75 or more).
Due to the constant rise in shipping rates/costs our rates adjust accordingly, but we often offer a special. Please see our latest **Shipping Specials** listed on our Home page.
Be aware shipping charges may not show in the initial shopping cart but will calculate during the check out process where you are applying your payment. You will see it calculate and know your total before you ever need to make the final commitment to process the order and charge your card.
All orders not meeting special discounted shipping rates are shipped as some type of "Standard Rate" such as USPS, Parcel Post, or UPS (whichever is least expensive). We attempt to contain shipping and handling and pass savings on to you. Your shipping/handling rate will calculate into your total, on check out after you enter your card information, but before you need to make any commitment to process the order.
We have a few items that are shipable in a standard envelope. These are mailed via standard USPS mail.
Our Shipping Charge includes the base shipping fee, tracking charges, signature required charges, insurance fees as needed, and in some cases some minor handling fee. Some of these charges are minumum requirements by Palpal etc to release payments.
Please call us prior to submitting an order if you wish some other type of shipping. We will accommodate you but will need to adjust the shipping charges based on your special request.
In most instances, orders will be processed then shipped within 2 Business days after the order is received. Orders placed late on Friday through Sunday will be treated as received to start processing on Monday. An email will be sent when item ships.
In the case of multiple item orders, and an item is placed in back-order, all items are held and shipped as one unit once all items are available. We will notify you if a back-order occurs. You would need to contact TOPOGEAR as sales@topogear.com if you wish some other arrangement. Additional shipping/handling charges may apply on any special request.
If you make an error and commit an order in error, please contact us immediately. In most cases we can stop your order if you immediately contact us.
